I am incredibly excited to have been elected to join the Advisory Council for the “New New Forum For Classical Singers” group on Facebook.
This collective of 14,000 singers from around the world has its finger on the pulse of the changing operatic landscape!
Gratitude in 2020
This year has been anything but typical. In this season of thankfulness and family, I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me with a kind word, a donation, mentorship or friendship.
Let’s continue being “together apart” until the next time we can gather and make a joyful noise!
Continued Study
I began studying voice with the incredible soprano Jennifer Rowley this year and have grown so much under her tutelage! I have also begun coaching with Mary Pinto and we have been building an all new audition package together!
ISOFOM
I am so grateful to the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia for giving me the opportunity to sing for Ailyn Pèrez, Jennifer Rowley, Luis Ledesma, and work directly with incredible coaches on both roles of Musetta and Mimì in La Bohème, even during a pandemic! Muchos graçias!
DIY Summer Program
Cindy Sadler created an incredible summer program for Young Artists in the age of COVID-19. I was so grateful to be a part of the inaugural class of this program which will continue beyond 2020 as an international summer program to those who may not ordinarily be able to access one.
I have continued to be a member of her Business of Singing and Emerald Singers mentorship groups, which is a think-tank of opera’s next generation of movers and shakers!
